Safety
Special attention is given to safety throughout the entire property.
The pool is secured with an electric cover, but children remain under the responsibility of their parents. No child may be present in the pool area without an adult. This important point may result in pool access being revoked by the owners.
The property is set in an exceptional location on the banks of a river with rocks, and the mill has its own weir (dam). To preserve this natural setting, we cannot guarantee complete safety, therefore children's access to the river is under the responsibility and supervision of their parents.

How many people can the gîte accommodate?
Moulin de Chatillon can accommodate up to 10 guests in 4 bedrooms. Ideal for families, groups of friends or family gatherings.
Is there a swimming pool?
Yes, the gîte has a private pool available during the summer season (June to September, weather permitting).
Is the mill accessible for people with reduced mobility?
The bedrooms are located upstairs and only accessible by stairs. The ground floor (living room, kitchen, terrace, pool) is fully accessible.
How do I book?
Fill in the booking form on our website. We confirm availability, then a 30% deposit is required via a secure SumUp payment link.
What are the payment conditions?
A 30% deposit confirms the booking. The remaining 70% is due no later than 20 days before your arrival. For reservations made 20 days or less before arrival, the full amount is required at confirmation.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation 20 days or more before arrival: 100% of amounts paid refunded. Cancellation 8 to 19 days before: 50% of total refunded. Cancellation 7 days or less: no refund. If the balance is not paid by the deadline and the owner cancels, the 30% deposit is retained by the owner.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out before 10:00 AM. Arrangements can be made on request.
Are bed linens and towels provided?
Yes, bed sheets, bath towels and kitchen towels are provided and included in the rate.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the gîte.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed at Moulin de Chatillon, to ensure the comfort of all guests and the upkeep of the property.
What is there to do nearby?
Puy du Fou (55 km), Futuroscope (52 km), Airvault markets, Lac du Cébron, hiking trails and canoeing on the Thouet river.
